Mi Corazon Co

New country, new juice bar! Mi Corazon Co serves fresh, organic juice, smoothies and grab and go delights from their sweet little health cafe in the jungle town of Ojochal, Costa Rica. They also offer detoxifying juice cleanse kits! Recently opened but with no professional marketing support, there were some basic adjustments made to the foundation of the business including hours of operation, consistency and online visibility. We started with a marketing consultation, which was followed by a clear list of suggested marketing actions to elevate the business. A budget was proposed (and accepted), allowing this client to continually improve and expand her reach while being mindful of expenses. 

Le Bazaar Fine Moroccan Cuisine

Maui's premiere Moroccan dining experience was launched by Marina Scott Marketing in February 2024. Marketing efforts include website development, media relations, e marketing, content creation, social media management, digital advertising, graphic design and event packaging.

DeCoite Tree Service

This well established local business was paying WAY too much for an over complicated website. With the goal of a simplified, easy to navigate online profile, I designed a new logo and launched visually appealing, branded website with strong calls to action.

Honolulu Time Jewels

Transitioning from a brick and mortar to an online store allows this client to travel the world sourcing vintage jewelry. This contract started with brand development, a new logo and guidelines. A new Shopify website was created using fresh content to enforce the brand. Digital directories, blogging and SEO helped to successfully launch the online business. 

Fire to Light

As a former firefighter, this client created a digital program to prepare first responders with the mental and spiritual tools to cope with inevitable traumas. A clear brand was needed to introduce the Fire to Light program through trade shows. The brand board will lay the foundation to guide future marketing and communication for this valiant initiative.

Choice Health Bar

I bet I will live longer thanks to working with Maui's OG health food restaurant. As Marketing Manager, I distributed bi weekly e newsletter campaigns, coordinated photoshoots, executed onsite events, designed promotional assets, updated digital menus, edited the website, wrote press releases and blogs, supported zero waste initiatives, launched a kids menu/retail and event series, formed strategic community partnerships and managed digital advertising campaigns.

With the goal of increasing website views and online sales for Maui's OG bikini hut, Maui Girl Swimwear was first provided with a full marketing review. This 'audit' identified areas of opportunity and a clear path to compete in the online swimwear industry. Marketing leadership, SEO, digital advertising, branding and content creation were ongoing tactics for this client.

Fossil Beach Farm

Returning to her homestead on the beautiful island of Hornby, Aileen and her husband transformed a scenic apple orchard and cattle pasture perched above the shoreline into a trendy glamping getaway. Each season brings expansion, including cider production, tasting room, farm to table BBQ, yoga and live music events. It has been my job over the past 4 years or so to distribute engaging, on brand electronic newsletter campaigns to subscribers. Catchy headlines can be hard to come by, calls to action are always necessary.

My first contract client continues to this day. With 10 beach gear rental shops across the Hawaiian islands, plus 3 tour boats and an electric bike rental business, there has always been plenty of work to do. Since the start, I've published a monthly blog for Boss Frog's Hawaii covering everything from local events to snorkeling beaches. Keyword rich content writing supports business goals. Photoshoot coordination, reputation management (requesting and responding to customer reviews) and social media are additional aspects of this ongoing contract.

NC6 Training

Another dream client, this was my opportunity to work with Guiness World Record holder, water woman Sarah Hauser. A fan girl from the start, I was extremely honored to assist in the launch of Sarah's online training program which is designed specifically for water sport enthusiasts. Marketing included e newsletter campaigns, social media content, event planning, digital advertising, website writing and design, media relations, graphics and collaborations with strategic partners.
